Proverbs 24:16
“Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.”

Mental Health Insight – Did you know by visualizing yourself overcoming difficult challenges builds confidence and strengthens our response to difficulties! The brain practices what you imagine. So if you visualize yourself stumbling over your words and messing up your speech, you’ll be more likely to do so. However, if you visualize performing your speech perfectly and getting a standing ovation, you have a much higher chance of succeeding! 

Exercise- “Seven Times, Rise Again” Visualization

Close your eyes and picture a challenge or difficulty you are facing. Imagine yourself falling down seven times, but each time, see yourself getting up stronger, wiser, and more determined. With each rise, notice what you learn or how your strength grows. Reflect on how God’s guidance helps you stand again. 


Reflection Question: When I think about the times I’ve “fallen” or faced setbacks, how have I experienced God’s strength helping me rise again, and what lessons or growth came from each time I got back up?


Prayer: Dear God, thank You that even when I fall, You help me rise again. Give me strength, courage, and hope to face challenges, and remind me that setbacks do not define me. Help me trust in Your guidance and keep moving forward. Amen.
