Devotional

Philippians 1:6

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”

Have you noticed how far you have come since starting this journey in January? We are already entering the third month of the year (as I am writing this), and we have discussed a great deal of different topics and resources.

As we continue to gather this information, it is important we take the time to slow down and evaluate what we have gained and what we are still struggling to adapt within our lives. Philippians 1:6 shows us we can trust that whatever God is doing in our lives, He will make sure to see it through. We may not know or understand His methods within the moment, but we can be full of joy knowing that He has our best interest in mind.

So, let’s take a moment to reflect on the good work God has been doing in our mental health journey in 2026, and “trust that this good work will be carried to completion”.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Look Back: Point out one area of your mental health or spiritual life where you saw God’s “good work” this month?
  2. Construction Zone: List a specific area you want to surrender to Christ in March? (e.g., your anxiety, your schedule, your boundaries).
  3. Next Step: Identify one small, practical habit you can start tomorrow to stay “rooted” in this new month?

Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for the “good work” You’ve been doing in my mental health journey since January. As I enter March, I lean on the promise of Philippians 1:6, trusting that You are faithful to complete what You have started even when the process feels like a messy construction zone. I surrender my anxieties and my schedule to You today, asking for the strength to stay rooted in Your peace as You continue to shape me into who I am meant to be. Amen.
