Congratulations! We have made it to May! I am so proud of each and everyone of you. To reflect on this last’s month’s work let’s do a quick reflection to put all that information we learned to work! Let’s dive into these 10 reflection questions over the many topics we have covered in the month of April.
1 Looking back at our digital detox how has putting your phone away helped quiet your mind?
2 When you think about the freeze response what two minute micro action was the most helpful for you?
3 How have you practiced holding two truths this month?
4 What was it like to pour out your messy feelings to God instead of hiding them?
5 How did it feel to step outside and look for the slow progress you have made and be proud of it?
6 What is one all or nothing thought you successfully challenged and replaced with the gray area?
7 When you felt torn to pieces what did it look like to hand those fragments to God?
8 How has anchoring yourself to a promise from scripture helped you during a stressful day?
9 What habits are keeping you grounded in Christ?
10 How will you remind yourself that rest is essential as we start this new month?
Prayer
Dear God, as I look back over the past month, I am so grateful for the ways You have carried me. Thank You for the new tools I have learned and the healing You have started in my heart. I confess that I often rush forward without pausing to remember Your goodness. Help me to intentionally reflect on Your faithfulness today. Give my mind the space to consolidate what I have learned, and gently command my soul to return to its rest. Amen.

Today I need God more than ever. My mom work up this morning to wake up my dad and he was dead. He wasn’t even sick, or old, or anything. He just died. Just like that. The man was the closest example to Jesus and a saint to all who knew him. Never cussed, never drank, never yelled nor even argued. He raised me since I was 15. And all my mom wants to do is die. I feel it because part of me does too. My biological dad died at age 54 in 2010 now my step dad who raised me died today may 1 2026 at 45. My mom didn’t deserve this pain. All I can do is look for any comfort I can get. God has been my source throughout it all. I say this because this page, is the closest I get to therapy. It has helped me to rely on God even in my deep sorrows. Idk what tomorrow brings and now my life perspective has forever changed. Both of my dads died in their sleep. But my step dad didn’t deserve to go so soon. My mom didn’t deserve this heartbreak and pain. All I can do is come here for any kind of comfort and advice I can and try to help us pick up the pieces and try to carry on this life. God has been a refuge for me in times of need . I pray he blesses you for helping others. Please pray for us thank you and God bless
